In Madison's mommy's words...
Lila is just as precious and sweet sitting there...Caden's reading a book...Poor Ella Grace is deciding what is up with Madison crying while Caroline is stealing Ella Grace's paci...and then poor Max at one point has a terrified look on his face!! Wellesley would probably do whatever Mommy wanted at that point b/c she was done for the day!
I LOVE these babies!

After we got home from the mountains we trimmed the tree. Ella Grace loved watching Brian from her exersaucer. Her favorite part was the lights. When it was time to put up the ornaments, Ella Grace got a new special ornament from Eema and they got to put it on the tree together as the first ornament. Now each morning when I get her out of her crib we walk through the living room and turn on the tree lights together. She always smiles when she sees the tree light up.

Last weekend Brian and I got to enjoy out annual "Tree Trek" weekend in the mountains with our dear friends. This was a great weekend getaway sans Ella Grace (thanks to Eema). This is our 4th annual trip and we sooo look forward to it every year. We stayed at Chateola lodge this year. We were delighted to wake up Saturday morning to be surrounded by snow. Off to the mountain we headed covered in snow and ready to chop down our tree! It was a perfect addition to a perfect weekend. We missed Ella Grace, but heard she enjoyed a day of shopping with Eema and Auntie Rebs!
Thanks for the great shots Cass and Jaimee!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. My parents and brothers came down from IN and of course Auntie Rebs was here too. EllaGrace has changed so much since the last time my dad and brothers saw her. This time she really interacted with everyone and I don't think my Dad and brothers were scared they were gong to break her everytime they picked her up anymore. Our days consisted of trap shooting, shopping, golfing, shopping, eating, movies, shopping. Suprisingly EllaGrace was not a fan of mashed potato's or the sweet potato's.
We were so lucky to have Eema come stay with us for almost 2 weeks. While she was here, we went down to see the Leonard Bearstein Bears and all the Christmas lights uptown. We got to visit Brian's new office and even snuck in a dinner at the sushi bar! YUM! EllaGrace loved looking at all the lights. She was mesmerized by the dancing bears. There was even a bear named Ella, she was the most glamorous one of all (of course!)

EllaGrace is soooo close to crawling. She gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth. Today I was on the computer and turned around to check on her... she has a big blanket that I spread on the den floor while I'm on the computer and she plays with her toys....well, when I turned around this time she had rolled on to the hardwood, found a slippery spot, and scooched backwards until she was almost hidden between the furniture!
